South Africa 1932 Air Mail cover from Petersburg, South Africa to Broken Hill, North Rhodesia. This cover was on the ‘City of Delhi’ airplane which crashed en route to Broken Hill. This cover provides evidence of the date of recovery of the mail from the swamp in which the aircraft attempted to land! Arrival date on back of cover Broken Hill 4 FEB 32.
